Host, Matt Eastman makes an appearance at the Miami Boat show where he asks unsuspecting patron, Bryan Ridgley to drop everything for the fishing trip of a lifetime. Bryan makes a phone call to his wife and then is on his way to San Juan, Puerto Rico in search of acrobatic tarpon. After Captain Omar Orraca makes bait he gets Matt Eastman and Bryan Ridgley get in on a frenzied snook bite and more tarpon then they can handle.

Withstanding 50 mile per hour winds along the Texas City breakwater, host Matt Eastman comes across one hard-core fisherman, Juan Navarro, who is willing to drop everything to compete in the highest stakes marlin tournament in the world, "The Bisbee Black and Blue". This lucky fisherman has an opportunity to win over $1 million dollars as he joins the team aboard the "El Nuevo Red Rum". Juan pre-fishes before the tournament and gets a colorful dorado and a yellowfin tuna. Despite the remnants of hurricane Paul, Juan hooks up on a billfish. The question is - is it "black or blue".

The Churchill Downs not only hosts some of the greatest horse racing in the country but also serves as the site for host Matt Eastman's next lucky candidate. Mint Juleps and elaborate hats are some of the regular sights at the Kentucky Derby but Matt Eastman's pursuit is far from regular. Matt Eastman and guest Dan English, nick-named "Derby Dan", head on an all-expenses-paid fishing trip to Bermuda aboard the Playmate Charters. Everything but movies is on host Matt Eastman's mind at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, The Sundance Film Festival. This year, however, one fisherman, Bryan Doering finds himself on the fishing trip of a lifetime when he travels with host, Matt Eastman to Bahama Beach Club in Abaco, Bahamas. Aboard H&R Charters with Captain Henry Sands, Bryan gets a chance at some blackfin tuna. Hurricane winds throw the trip for a loop and Bryan and Matt make the best of it; they go for a freedive for Bohemian Conch shells.
