Host, Matt Eastman takes them on the fishing trip of a lifetime from the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in Oklahoma City to Quest Lodge in Sitka, Alaska to fish for king salmon and halibut. The only problem? Grandpa is hesitant to let his 19-year-old granddaughter, Jordan, from Guthrie, Oklahoma to go on this fishing trip of a lifetime.

London, Kentucky to Punta de Mita, Mexico

From the World Chicken Festival in London, Kentucky, host, Matt Eastman searches for his next unsuspecting guest to take to Punta de Mita, Mexico. It’s an appropriate starting point because in Mexico guest Mark Blair, will be hunting down the “chicken of the sea” with one of the best tuna fishermen in the world: Captain Josh Temple.

The sizzle from the world’s largest skillet is enough to make any self-respecting fried chicken lover’s mouth water. And while the 300 pounds of cooking oil to fill it is impressive, the 361.7 lb tuna Matt and his guest catch just offshore Punta de Mita, Mexico blows that out of the water. It’s the largest yellowfin tuna caught on the planet this year and it’s the 17th biggest ever on record. Now that’s the fishing trip of a lifetime.

Dan Cogan’s peaceful day of fly-fishing the middle Provo River in Utah for 12-inch browns is interrupted when host Matt, Eastman offers him the trip of a lifetime. Less than 24 hours later Dan Cogan is fishing with Captain Ryan Lambert of Cajun Fishing Adventures in Burras, Louisiana for trophy redfish on the Bayou Flats.

Greenville, South Carolina to Los Suenos, Costa Rica

At the Bassmaster’s Championship in Greenville, South Carolina, host, Matt Eastman meets up with many hard-core anglers, but none of whom are aware that they could be whisked away on the surprise trip to Los Suenos Resort and Marina in Costa Rica to catch some billfish. Todd Graham thought a 10-pound bass was his fish of a lifetime but that soon changed after releasing his first sailfish and then his second, third and on and on. More than a dozen sailfish released later, he’s got a whole new perspective on the fishing world.

Albuquerque, New Mexico to Turks and Caicos

Every year hundreds of hot air balloons fill the skyline at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. But this year, Host, Matt Eastman is there to give away a surprise trip to the tropical destination of Turks and Caicos to fish for bonefish. Matt Eastman asks Miss New Mexico 2007, Casey Messer if she has “got the guts to go”. She leaves her crown and sash behind for the fishing adventure of a lifetime.

Where a 30 degree incline is considered child’s play, Matt Eastman gives an avid mountain biker in Moab, Utah, Chris Dimieri, a surprise fishing trip to Islamorada in the Florida keys. In a special twist he’ll fish with former “Wanna Go Fishing?” guest Jeremy Pfaffendorf. Pfaffendorf was taken from his ice fishing shack in Minnesota in season one of “Wanna Go Fishing?” to the Florida Keys to fish with Captain Skip Bradeen. And now because of that experience has sold everything he owns and moved down to the keys to be a mate on “Fish Tales” in Islamorada under Captain Ron Allen. Now Pfaffendorf is taking another “Wanna Go Fishing?” guest on the fishing trip of a lifetime.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Belize

Host, Matt Eastman travels to the U of Blue event at University of Alabama presented by Costa del Mar sunglasses in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to see if one college student is willing to leave the party for a trip to beautiful Belize. Matt Eastman finds Jamie Grimmer who is ready to drop everything for the fishing trip of a lifetime to El Pescador, Belize to fish for bonefish. Jamie is partying with his buddies in Alabama, one day and the next he is enjoying the breath-taking waters off of Belize.

Las Vegas to Guatemala

Host, Matt Eastman travels to sin city, Las Vegas, to see if one person will drop everything for the chance to fish for sailfish, tuna and marlin in Guatemala. Mike Frank was ready and willing to go but his passport was in Santa Cruz, California so he made the treck to California and then was off to Guatemala. The treck to get the passport was well-worth the effort as the fishing in Guatemala was more sensational than Cirque de Soleil.
